Having a pictorial blog today........We went for a walk in Serpentine Woods today (just above Kendal) lots of trees, scultures, views and wild garlic !!
Had some lovely mushrooms with wild garlic (picked very carefully by Eilidh) for tea...YUM!

What a lovely place to go hope you will take us when we eventualy come up.I have never eaten wild garlic ! were the mushrooms wild too?

That was the first time we have ever been there although it's only down the road. In fact we may walk from home next time and take a picnic with us.

Wild garlic is really nice, yu just chop up the leaves and put them in and they taste better than the garlic bulbs.The wood was covered in it. No wild mushrooms though, I would worry that I'd pick the wrong ones!!!

Wow that looks beautiful, I have never heard of it though,where is it?
I will have to show Simon to see if he knows of it and if he does why did he never take us lol
