Eilidh and Ben spent this morning sat outside again playing with plasticine and then doing some painting. I managed to get more laundry done (we seem to have piles of stuff to do). We then went to take Dave and Paul their lunch up at Steve's house and were intending to come straight back for our lunch. However, Steve then talked me into a coffee and some lunch and we ended up staying there all afternoon again!! The kids played about in the garden, went and pestered Steve's two boys who are brilliant with them and we watched Dave and Paul working hard. Steve has a lovely Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog who looks really big and butch and is actually unbelievably soft. Eilidh and Ben are still a bit wary but he is such a soft lump and so good with kids.

The weather has been gorgeous for the last few days, more like summer than it has been all year.....I just hope it lasts.
